For those insured with Anthem, we are pleased to announce that after several months of contract negotiations, Anthem Blue Cross and the Sutter Health System have successfully renewed their agreements.
Although the termination date for commercial business was December 31, 2018, Anthem honored a transition period to allow members to access Sutter Health physicians, hospitals and ancillary providers through March 31, 2019.
The new multi-year contracts are effective April 1, 2019.
